I have used Picasa from Google for my whole career as a photographer.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THOSE EXPENSIVE EDITING PROGRAMS! (Unless you really want to change your photo drastically so that its something that its not dont waste money.
Picasa 3 is free on the google applications page.
